Patients engaging with TravelMedi-supported care pathways are entitled to the following rights, consistent with internationally recognized patient-centered care principles.
Right to Information
Patients have the right to receive clear, accurate, and understandable information regarding treatment options,
processes, risks, and alternatives before making decisions.
Right to Informed Consent
Patients have the right to make voluntary decisions based on adequate information, without pressure or coercion.
Right to Privacy & Confidentiality
Patients have the right to have their personal and medical information handled confidentially and in accordance
with applicable data protection laws and principles, including GDPR and KVKK.
Right to Respect & Dignity
Patients have the right to respectful, non-discriminatory treatment regardless of background, nationality,
gender, or beliefs.
Right to Continuity of Care
Patients have the right to receive guidance on follow-up care and continuity planning, particularly when treatment
occurs outside their country of residence.
Right to Ask Questions & Seek Second Opinions
Patients may ask questions, request clarification, and seek additional professional opinions at any stage.
Right to Voice Concerns
Patients have the right to raise concerns or complaints and to receive information about available resolution pathways.
